Special September Meeting

The Board of Directors will meet on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lakewood Gardens office to discuss possible roof replacements and insurance claims from hail damage. This is not a regularly scheduled meeting. All residents are invited to attend.

Prepare for Winter

Now that cold weather has arrived, please make sure that your storm windows are closed. This will help to keep the heat in and your heating bills down. Please make sure your heating vents are in the open position. This is also the perfect time of year to change your furnace filters! Heat MUST be kept on in your unit during the cold months, even if no one is home. This prevents freezing water pipes that can lead to big problems later on!

It may be early, but this is Wisconsin, so we're already planning for snow removal. The plowing company has been directed to come through the lots the first thing in the morning and clear the main path. Once cars are out of the lots, they will come back to clear stalls. We ask that all cars (whether you stay home that day or not) be moved to the perimeter of the lots by 10:00 a.m. so that all the stalls closest to the buildings can be cleared. Then, in the afternoon/early evening, the plows will come back to clear the perimeter. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Property Projects - Fall 2011

• All of the potholes on South Lakewood Gardens Lane will be repaired by the end of September. Please watch out for the repair people as you're driving through the lots.
• Several buildings will be power washed and painted throughout the fall. If your building is being power washed and painted, please move items off your balcony so nothing gets broken during the wash. You should also move anything on your front stoops and gardens that you can.
• Dumpsters in front of 37-48 LWG have moved to 49-56 LWG on a trial basis. Please call the office with any input.
